We're proud to be a sponsor and the official photographer for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. |

The 2011 walk was Oct. 2 & 3 and took place through downtown
Atlanta. The Marriott Marquis was the host hotel and the
closing ceremonies were held at Pemberton Plaza at the World Of Coke.
Richard Doughty, a breast cancer survivor and a member of the MotoCrew welcomes the walkers at 6:30 AM on Saturday.

We released a pink sea of walkers on downtown Atlanta about 7AM Saturday morning. It's always so much fun to see the walkers head out - it's smiles, high-fives, and waves that seem to go on forever as almost 800 walkers pass through the two rows of motorcycles blocking the road. The weather was better than fantastic all weekend! |

We had a wonderful group of walkers - some of the most friendly people I've ever been around. All are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer in the greater Atlanta area. All the money raised by the 2-Day stays in Georgia! |

Those Sandy Springs Firefighters were back again this year (we always have lots of repeat walkers - many who have been with us all 8 years of the 2-Day). So many walkers wanted a picture with these guys - I doubt they have a clue how many different pictures were made of them with other walkers. |

One of our "b'rest stops" (that's 2-Day-talk for snack & potty stop) was at Fernbank. Good to have a few dinosaurs watching over the walkers. Did I mention the great weather? |

MotoCrew Atlanta! There's a great group of motorcyclists that give their time to be certain that the walkers at the 2-Day are safe. Though Glenn's using his motorcycle to photograph the walk - he's still a part of watching out for all the walkers. The MotoCrew is shown here just after arriving at the closing ceremonies on Sunday afternoon. |

Our closing ceremonies were held at Pemberton Plaza at the World of Coke. We all gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of our walkers and recognize all the survivors among us. Then we say goodbye to one another - it's tough since we have become a family for the weekend. We are all looking forward to the 2011 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Join us September 24 & 25, 2011. |
