The 2009 walk was Oct. 3 & 4 and took place through downtown
Atlanta. The Marriott Marquis was the host hotel and the
closing ceremonies were held at Zoo Atlanta. Next year's walk will be Oct. 2 & 3. |

We're delighted to have an ever growing number of men walking each year. A group of firefighters from Sandy Springs walked as a team and enjoyed their popularity with all the ladies! |

Here's Glenn with Miss Georgia International, Danielle Schmidt, on the Campus of Agnes Scott College where we had lunch on Saturday. Danielle encouraged the walkers as they relaxed and enjoyed their lunches from Jason's Deli. She also worked at a B'rest Stop greeting the walkers and making sure they had a snack and a drink for the walk. |

MotoCrew Atlanta! There's a great group of motorcyclists that give their time to be certain that the walkers at the 2-Day are safe. Though Glenn's using his motorcycle to photograph the walk - he's still a part of watching out for all the walkers. The MotoCrew is shown here at 6:15AM just after moving their bikes into place to be ready for the 7:30 start on Sunday morning. |
